Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum is America's national museum of design, housed in the Carnegie Mansion on New York's Fifth Avenue. Founded in 1897 by the Hewitt sisters, it holds a vast collection spanning centuries of decorative arts, graphic design, textiles and product design.
