About Nick Cave
Nick Cave is an American artist, sculptor and performer, born in Missouri in 1959 and based in Chicago. He is best known for his Soundsuits, wearable sculptures that conceal the body under twigs, buttons, sequins, hair and found objects, which he began making in 1992. Joyful and politically charged, they blur sculpture, fashion and performance.
