“You need to let the little things that would ordinarily bore you suddenly thrill you.” —Andy Warhol
Kidrobot and The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts have teamed up again to celebrate one of Andy Warhol’s more controversial art series. In 1964, his Brillo Box art sculptures and prints transformed a mundane commercial product into art, challenging collectors and critics alike to rethink how we identify and value something as art. Based on this iconic work, the Andy Warhol 12” Yellow Brillo Box plush cube is ready to add a pop of collectible Pop Art to your space!
Dimensions: 12" x 12" x 12"
About Andy Warhol
Andy Warhol (1928–1987) was the leading figure of Pop Art. Born in Pittsburgh, he began as a commercial illustrator in New York before turning the imagery of consumer culture and celebrity — Campbell's soup cans, Brillo boxes, Marilyn Monroe — into some of the most recognisable art of the 20th century. His studio, the Factory, became a hub for artists, musicians and filmmakers, and his silkscreens, films and publishing reshaped the line between fine art and commerce.
