Helmut Lang Pillow for Henzel Studio

Helmut Lang is an Austrian artist and former fashion designer whose minimalist, urban clothing redefined fashion in the 1990s. After leaving fashion in 2005, he turned to making art full time, creating sculptures and works on paper that have been exhibited in museums and galleries internationally.

Henzel Studio translates the work into a rug. The Swedish studio's artist programme commissions artists and estates to create rugs as works in their own right, authored by the artist, hand-made in limited editions and meant for the floor as much as the wall.
