About Ligne Blanche
Ligne Blanche Paris brings these works off the wall and into daily life. Founded in 2007, the French house works with artists' estates and foundations to translate iconic images onto Limoges porcelain, perfumed candles and home objects — so a Warhol flower, a Haring figure or a Basquiat crown becomes something you live with, not just look at.

Robert Mapplethorpe (1946–1989) was an American photographer known for his formally precise black-and-white images. Working in New York, he photographed flowers, classical nudes, celebrities and the city's underground scenes with the same sculptural perfection, and shot the cover of Patti Smith's album Horses. His retrospective The Perfect Moment became a landmark in debates over artistic freedom.
