About Vincent Van Gogh

Vincent van Gogh (1853–1890) was a Dutch Post-Impressionist painter and one of the most influential figures in Western art. In little more than a decade he produced around 2,100 works, including The Starry Night, Sunflowers and The Bedroom, whose vivid colour and expressive brushwork changed the course of modern painting.
