STUDIO PEGASUS: À CORPS PERDU

À CORPS PERDU

Photographs by Studio Pegasus

À Corps Perdu
brings together images made over the past ten years, tracing an ongoing exploration of the male body.

Throughout my work, I have been drawn to capturing men in moments of quiet intimacy, when the body feels unguarded, vulnerable and simply present. I approach these scenes with an editorial eye, looking for composition, gesture, and attitude while preserving their emotional honesty.

Most of these photographs were created using natural light. I am captivated by the softness and unpredictability of daylight, and by the way it can shape mood, depth, and contrast, sometimes almost magically.

This exhibition is also a reflection on trust. Every image exists because a model chose to step in front of my camera and allow himself to be seen. I'm deeply grateful to each of them for their openness and dedication. Without that generosity, this body of work would not have been possible.

À Corps Perdu can be interpreted as “with all my body and soul”, or as the act of surrendering oneself completely. It suggests both abandon and risk, allowing the body to become vulnerable, to be observed and to exist without defense.

Together, these images form a portrait of masculinity in which the body speaks without words, revealing something sensual, instinctive and deeply human.
