Andy Warhol (1928–1987) was the leading figure of Pop Art. Born in Pittsburgh, he began as a commercial illustrator in New York before turning the imagery of consumer culture and celebrity — Campbell's soup cans, Brillo boxes, Marilyn Monroe — into some of the most recognisable art of the 20th century. His studio, the Factory, became a hub for artists, musicians and filmmakers, and his silkscreens, films and publishing reshaped the line between fine art and commerce.

Ligne Blanche Paris brings these works off the wall and into daily life. Founded in 2007, the French house works with artists' estates and foundations to translate iconic images onto Limoges porcelain, perfumed candles and home objects — so a Warhol flower, a Haring figure or a Basquiat crown becomes something you live with, not just look at.
