Some of the first celebrities to capture Warhol’s imagination were those from the religious stories of his Catholic upbringing. Over his career, he’d paint more than 100 versions of Leonardo da Vinci’s Renaissance masterpiece, The Last Supper.

Here are a few of our favorites.

About Andy Warhol

Andy Warhol (1928–1987) was the leading figure of Pop Art. Born in Pittsburgh, he began as a commercial illustrator in New York before turning the imagery of consumer culture and celebrity — Campbell's soup cans, Brillo boxes, Marilyn Monroe — into some of the most recognisable art of the 20th century. His studio, the Factory, became a hub for artists, musicians and filmmakers, and his silkscreens, films and publishing reshaped the line between fine art and commerce.

About Apply Stickers

Apply Stickers takes these works from the gallery to the everyday. Produced in collaboration with artists and their estates, each design is faithfully reproduced as a die-cut sticker or sheet — art made to travel, on a laptop, a notebook or a skateboard.
