MAGRITTE TRAY IN LIMOGES PORCELAIN LE RETOUR

Ligne Blanche Paris brings these works off the wall and into daily life. Founded in 2007, the French house works with artists' estates and foundations to translate iconic images onto Limoges porcelain, perfumed candles and home objects — so a Warhol flower, a Haring figure or a Basquiat crown becomes something you live with, not just look at.

René Magritte was one of the most important surrealist artists. With his paintings he provoked and challenged the observer's perception of reality. He is an inspiration for us at LOQI. Like Magritte we dream big and laugh loud. We like humor, surprises and blue skies. Surreal realities. Far-fetched fantasies. Extraordinarily unordinary. Belgian-born artist René Magritte is one of the important surrealist artists of all time—always challenging and questioning our perception of reality in wacky and witty ways.
