Passing by Tenerife in 2022, Aimé found their way to Babylon, a queer club in a basement where drag queens perform every night. They gathered a collection of black and white analog photograps from two nights spent there into a zine.
About Aimé Dabbadie
Aimé Dabbadie is a French-born, Berlin-based artist, photographer and zine publisher whose analogue work documents underground queer punk, drag and DIY performance scenes. Through the imprint Lost and Found Press, Dabbadie has published more than 35 titles and runs community zine-making workshops. The Queens of Tenerife is a self-published 2022 zine of black-and-white 35mm photographs taken over two nights at Babylon in Tenerife.
