Tom of Finland was the pseudonym of Touko Laaksonen (1920–1991), the Finnish artist whose drawings of muscular, joyful men in leather and uniforms became defining images of gay culture. Working from the 1950s onwards, he created a confident, celebratory vision of masculinity that has since been embraced by museums, fashion houses and designers around the world.

WE ARE SPASTOR is the Spanish label of designers Sergio Pastor and Ismael Alcaina, relaunched in 2019. The brand takes a provocative approach to elegance, producing timeless wardrobe essentials in limited runs from high-quality materials, with handcrafted details, use of fabric remnants and all production in Spain. It has also collaborated with the Tom of Finland Foundation. CULTUREEDIT carries its white briefs, boxer briefs and socks.
