The solo edition presents three depictions of Durk Dehner - Tom of Finland’s business partner, manager, lover and muse. The artist created a sketch of 28 year-old Dehner using photographs as his blueprint, making this a uniquely photorealistic artwork when compared to the rest of his oeuvre.
The close-up portrait on the first plan is striking in its detail. Dehner is seen wearing a uniform-style hat and a leather jacket with elements of fur. His gaze is fixed on the audience in a contemplative manner.
