Shipping Policy 

COVID-19 RELATED DELAYS

DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, WE HAVE HAD TO MAKE MANY ADJUSTMENTS, INCLUDING BECOMING A POSTAL INVESTIGATOR HUNTING DOWN THE CURRENT LOCATION OF PEOPLE'S PACKAGES. HERE IS SOME INFORMATION TO HELP EASE YOUR MIND. 

THE GOOD NEWS, PEOPLE ARE GETTING THEM - THE BAD NEWS IS SOMETIMES LATE. THERE ARE POSTAL WORKER SHORTAGES ACROSS THE BOARD AND PACKAGES ARE CIRCULATING SOMETIMES TO THE WRONG POSTAL HUBS BEFORE FINDING ITS WAY TO YOU. IF YOU ORDERED SOMETHING INTERNATIONALLY, GIVE IT A MINUTE. WE ARE LEARNING THAT THERE ARE OFTEN NOT ENOUGH FLIGHTS GOING OUT, AND PACKAGES ARE HANGING AROUND LONGER AT THE AIRPORT. WE MOSTLY SHIP YOUR ORDERS USING USPS, WHICH IS IN CRISIS AT THE MOMENT. PLEASE BEAR WITH US AS WE NAVIGATE THROUGH THIS TIME TOGETHER.

PARTNERSHIP WITH ROUTE

We are proud to partner with Route, the leader in package protection and tracking solutions. By selecting Route+ at checkout your order will be protected from damage, loss*, or theft. In the unfortunate case that your order never comes or is broken upon arrival, you can easily file a claim with Route and receive a replacement or be fully reimbursed. We are excited to offer this service to you and we highly recommend you use Route+ package protection at checkout.

*Claims for packages marked "delivered" must be filed after 5 days and before 15 days from the date the package was marked "delivered." Claims for packages presumed to be lost (where the status is not "delivered") must be filed after 7 days (20 days for international) and within 30 days from the last checkpoint.

Shipping Processing Time

Orders are processed within 24-72 hours Monday - Friday. Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email. 

Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. At checkout you will be able to choose your preferred method from a list of available carriers. Carrier method and availability will be determined by the items you have in your cart and your shipping address.

Delivery estimates are available upon checkout when you choose your carrier method. 

Although uncommon, delivery delays can occasionally occur. We have noticed that International shipping lead-times have been compromised during the COVID-19 crisis. If your order is expected to have a serious delay due to other reasons we will reach out via email to let you know. 

Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number(s) will be active within 24 hours.

International Shipping Policy

Tom of Finland Store ships worldwide from the USA to most countries.

Customs, tariffs, duties, taxes, or other fees applied to shipment and directly invoiced to the customer by their national port authority is the sole responsibility of the customer. 

PLEASE NOTE: USPS First Class International Mail is neither guaranteed nor insured. This service has limited tracking capability once a package leaves the USA. This shipping service may be selected at customer's sole risk.

A SHIPMENT IS ONLY CONSIDERED LOST ONCE DECLARED AS SUCH BY THE SHIPPING CARRIER.

Damaged Orders

If you received your order damaged, please contact info@tomoffinlandstore.com with photos and a description of the items' condition to file a claim. We assess damaged orders on a case by case basis and take full responsibility of items damaged due to unsafe or faulty packaging.

Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

Lost Orders

Tom of Finland Store is not responsible for lost orders. If you believe your order is lost, please contact info@tomoffinlandstore.com and a Customer Service Representative will be happy to assist you as much as possible.

PLEASE NOTE: For avoidance of any doubt, orders that can be traced with carriers tracking numbers and have been confirmed by the carrier as delivered or still in transit do not qualify for lost coverage. If an order was confirmed as delivered by the carrier and it is missing it is the sole responsibility of the customer to contact the carrier to investigate the issue.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Tom of Finland Store is not responsible for incorrectly entered shipping addresses and does not refund or credit incurred shipping costs as a result. Customers are solely responsible for providing the correct shipping address at checkout. Please ensure that your shipping information is accurate before placing your order.

In the event that you enter the wrong shipping address at checkout please contact Customer Service immediately at info@tomoffinlandstore.com. Please reference your order number and a Customer Service Representative will be happy to assist you.

Perfumes & Dangerous Goods

Items we carry designated "dangerous goods" by our shipping carriers, such as perfume, are only eligible for USPS Ground Shipping in the lower 48 United States.

 

Return, Exchange & Cancelation Policy

Unwanted Return Items

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, for any reason, you may return most items* within 14 days of receipt of delivery for refund or store credit, less original shipping and handling costs.

Sale items are final sale and not eligible for return. 

PLEASE NOTE: To ensure the safety and health of our customers we do not accept returns or exchanges on items that can constitute a health risk or any item that is designed to come into contact with ANY bodily fluid (saliva, semen, urine, blood, et al).  Once these items leave our warehouse, we consider them to be used and non-resalable.

PLEASE NOTE: If you choose to return an item, you will be responsible for shipping charges to Tom of Finland Store. We strongly recommend that you fully insure your return shipment in case it is lost or damaged by the carrier. We also recommend that the carrier you choose is able to provide proof of delivery for your protection. If you’d like, we will happily provide you with a common courier pre-paid return label for an additional cost.

All products returned MUST be completely unused, contain ALL original boxes and packing materials, have original UPC/EAC codes on the manufacturer boxes, contain all manuals, blank warranty cards and other accessories and documentation provided by the manufacturer. ALL fashion items must be unworn. Any product returned that is not in the original condition when it left our warehouse, will be subject to being returned to you.

PLEASE NOTE: Once your return package is received at our warehouse and the items have been successfully inspected, an email advising that your refund is in process will be sent. Please note it may take up to 30 days to appear on your credit card depending on your billing cycle.

Defective Items Replacement & Refunds

If you receive a defective item, you may return it within 14 days from receipt of delivery. Our Customer Service Representatives will work with you on a solution by replacing the item with the same item, or, will provide full refund for the price paid for the product including shipping costs.

If a replacement is desired, the defective item will be replaced upon validation of defect. Tom of Finland Store reserves the option as to whether we will need to have this item returned for validation. Our Customer Service Representatives will help guide you through the process.

Holiday Returns

Any purchases made from November 1 through December 31 are eligible for return until 11:59 PM Pacific Standard Time on January 14. All The above return policies apply.

Gift Returns

All returns including gift returns require a valid gift receipt or order confirmation in order to process. No returns can be made without valid gift receipt or order confirmation. All return policies above apply to gift returns.

Cancelations

To cancel an order send an email to Customer Service at info@tomoffinlandstore.com.

PLEASE NOTE: Once an item has shipped, an order cannot be canceled.

Price Adjustments

Tom of Finland Store does not make price adjustments.
