- Provenance: I painted this over a previous painting and he has been hanging in my room ever since.
The painting is on a gallery panel, the title, year and signature are on the back. The sides are painted gold and the piece has a wire and is ready to hang.

Matt Pipes
Matt Pipes is a painter and printmaker in San Francisco. His paintings deal with queer iconography, identity and culture; and often feature a cast of Sailors, Mermen, lost boys and figures from LGBTQIA+ history. The art of Byzantine religious iconography and Tattoo flash are major influences on his work.
