TOM OF FINLAND STORE is pleased to present Rick Castro: GLORY HOLE, an online exhibition showing some of Castro’s rarely shown photographs. Many of these works are shown here for the first time.

Declared as The King of Fetish, Castro’s 30-year body of work documents all forms of fetish and BDSM desires.

“I consider myself a fetish artist; be it through photography, film, writing & blogging- this is who I am. I understand the term fetish to be broad, more so than most people are aware, or would like to admit. Fetishistic desires reaches all aspects of life - a form of sexual, (not exclusively) desire in which gratification is linked to a particular object, item of clothing, part of the body, person, or practice...fixation-obsession- compulsion- mania- a driving force. An object thought to have magical powers. Something that is empowered by something else.”

For this exhibition, Castro made a selection of his photography from 1993 thru 2019, exclusively for Tom of Finland Store, focusing on images that may not get as much recognition. Subjects range from desert bikers, intimate BDSM scenes, the male form, outtakes from commissioned fashion shoots and portraits.
