The tenth of twelve publications released monthly by James Unsworth, each covering a different project or theme from fifteen years of taking photographs and making work.

These are the sketches for his second book, published by Ditto Press in 2014, showing the preliminary ideas behind the finished published versions. The compositions are taken from Issue 34 of a mid-90s German porno called Game Boys.

Two of these images were published in Tiny Pencil No. 3: The Beast Issue! Monsters, Machines and Unnatural Things! (2013) — the rest have never been exhibited or published. The work explores knowledge versus innocence and the grotesque, drawing on childhood memories set in 1988, with reference points including Stupid Smiles, Garbage Pail Kids, Boglins and Space Raiders.
