Janet was an established magazine editor when she publicly came out as a trans woman in a 2011 article in Marie Claire. She later published a collection of essays about her life, Redefining Realness, which was a NY Times bestseller. She was a staff writer for the TV show Pose. Glass votives are 2.5in high and 2in wide at the base. Each votive is affixed with an opaque sticker with an image of a person and on the opposite side, a translucent sticker with biographical information about the person. Stickers are water-resistant.
