Joel Kim Booster glass votive altar candle from Flaming Idols. Joel Kim Booster is an American comedian, writer and actor. He is best known for his stand up comedy and for writing and starring in the 2022 film Fire Island, a queer and Asian-led adaption of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice set in the gay village of The Pines on NY’s Fire Island. You might light this candle and look to Joel for inspiration and guidance in: Finding queer joy, navigating mental health challenges, finding your footing as a transracial adoptee. Candle is hand-poured with soy wax and burns for approximately 10 hours. Glass votives are 2.5in high and 2in wide at the base. Each votive is affixed with an opaque sticker with an image of a person and on the opposite side, a translucent sticker with biographical information about the person. Stickers are water-resistant.
